About the Authors
T.J. Alexander is an amateur baker and author who writes about queer love. Originally from Florida, they received their MA in writing and publishing from Emerson College in Boston. They live in New York City with their wife and various houseplants. Their book, Chef's Kiss, tells the story of how a high-strung pastry chef’s professional goals are interrupted by an unexpected career transition and the introduction of her wildly attractive nonbinary kitchen manager.
Chencia C. Higgins is just a girl from Texas who writes stories in which Black women are loved out loud. In 2019 she won an RSJ Emma award for her debut paranormal romance, Janine: His True Alpha. She resides in Houston with her family. Her book, D'Vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding, centers two lesbian protaganists on a reality dating show who try, but fail, to fake their interest in each other.
Aurora Rey is a college dean by day and a queer romance author the rest of the time, except when she’s cooking, baking, riding the tractor, or pining for goats. She is the author of the Cape End Romance series and several standalone contemporary romance novels and novellas. She has been a finalist for the Lambda Literary, RITA®, and Golden Crown Literary Society awards, but loves reader feedback the most. She lives in Ithaca, New York with her dogs and whatever wildlife has taken up residence in the pond.
