Buffalo Street Books is proud to partner with Cornell University's Department of Literatures in English & Creative Writing Program to present the first event in the 2021 Barbara & David Zalaznick Reading Series:

The Robert Chasen Memorial Poetry Reading by Ada Limón, poet and National Book Critics Circle Award Winner.  

Ada Limón is the author of five poetry collections, including The Carrying, which won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry. Her fourth book Bright Dead Things was named a finalist for the National Book Award, a finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award, and a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. A recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship for Poetry, she serves on the faculty of Queens University of Charlotte Low Residency MFA program and lives in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Robert Chasen Memorial Poetry Reading is a biennial event, featuring a public reading by a distinguished poet. It was established in 1980 by Margaret Rosenzweig, '32, in memory of Robert Chasen.
